Innovation competition

Fresh Air Innovators invites students to enter their blue sky thinking transport innovation for a chance to win a Birdie CO2 monitor.

This competition encourages participants to apply their knowledge of sustainability, transportation problems and entrepreneurial thinking. Students will design creative solutions whilst addressing real-world challenges.

How to enter

Students must submit their entries no more than 1 week after they complete their innovation lesson (Lesson 8). Use the form below and submit up to 2 items for each entry: a photo of the final storyboard and/or an image of a design prototype. Students can use any medium to create their prototype, from digital tools like Minecraft Education or materials like cardboard and collage.

How entries are judged

A panel of experts will judge competition entries. The panel will include innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and teachers.

Competition rules

Before the lesson, you will need too...

Open to students participating in the Fresh Air Innovators program.
Storyboards must clearly outline the idea, its purpose, and how it addresses a transportation problem sustainably.
Entry must be the student’s own work based on their classroom participation.
Submit entry using the form below, including storyboard and/or prototype images.
Entries must be submitted within 1 week of completing the innovation lesson (lesson 8).
